随着电子产品的广泛应用，我们用眼的强度也在不断增加，随之带来的就是近视度数的不断攀升。
研究显示，预计到2050年，高度近视人口会增加到1.75亿人。现在不仅是成人，甚至是小小年纪的儿童，都成为了高度近视。这些人群，既想摆脱“厚重”的眼镜，又想控制近视度数加深，有什么办法呢？
大多数人或多或少有听说过RGP，它可以解决很多人，尤其是高度近视人群不想戴眼镜的问题。
不仅改善外观，方便生活，而且它透氧系数比普通的隐形眼镜高，不容易引起眼球干涩。但唯一的不足是不能延缓近视加深，而离焦型RGP则在传统RGP的基础上弥补了这一不足，这对很多高度近视的患者来说，是很大的福音。
OK镜是夜戴型的硬性隐形眼镜，它和离焦RGP都能控制近视加深。虽然同样是隐形眼镜，但是佩戴方式有所不同：RGP是白天佩戴，而OK镜是晚上睡觉佩戴。最主要的区别是，使用度数的范围不同。OK镜通常需要近视600度以下，对于高度近视人群，OK镜可能无法获得白天的良好视力。而离焦RGP可以弥补这个不足，它能矫正600度以上的人群，满足高度近视人群需要控制近视的需求。
验配新型离焦RGP跟验配OK镜的要求非常接近。都需要做严格的检查，确保佩戴的过程有效且不会对眼睛造成损伤。
佩戴后还需要做到规范护理、注意卫生以及准时到院复查等。
当然，即使医学上的近视防控手段再多样先进，科学的用眼习惯也不能忘。
注意平时望远让眼睛放松休息，多进行户外活动，“目”浴阳光，保持正确的读写姿势跟习惯等等，都能起到控制近视的作用。
